An innovative and high-performance EN-C certified wing
The CODEX from NOVA is a true revolution in the EN-C class, incorporating the most sought-after qualities of the two-liner EN-D wing XENON. With a moderate aspect ratio of 6.1, it combines excellent accessibility with intuitive handling. In flight, it offers outstanding glide, competitive top speed, and enduring comfort to help you stay focused for hours. Its fully usable speed range and stability in turbulent air unleash the wing's full potential, even in challenging conditions. The goal: to fly far, long, and with peace of mind.
CODEX was developed with two goals in mind: usable performance and daily practicality. From smooth launch to compact packing, every detail has been optimized. Thanks to its nitinol rods, the wing resists twisting and folds into a compact size. Delivered with the Concertina Bag Light, it fits perfectly into your usual backpack. Weighing only 4.2 kg in size XS (weight range: 70–95 kg), its semi-light construction makes it a smart choice for Hike & Fly without compromising durability.
Selected materials for long-lasting use
True to the motto "As light as possible, as strong as necessary", NOVA uses smartly distributed materials. The Dominico 30D leading edge ensures maximum durability, while the rest of the wing is made of Porcher Skytex 27 C2, providing an ideal balance between weight and strength. Heavily stressed internal areas feature Skytex 32 Hard, while lighter zones use Skytex 27 Hard. The result: a robust yet lightweight wing perfect for everyday use in the air and on the ground.
Streamlined risers designed for active flying
The 12 mm Kevlar riser straps offer great simplicity and precise control. The carbon B-handles are height-adjustable on five levels—like on the XENON—allowing you to match your body shape and harness geometry. This system offers optimal control in accelerated flight with comfortable B-riser steering. Thanks to the two-liner design, CODEX also allows for effective B3 stalls while keeping classic big ears fully functional.

Who is the Codex by NOVA for?
The CODEX (EN-C/LTF-D certified) is designed for experienced cross-country pilots looking to transition to a high-performance yet reassuring two-liner. Those comfortable on a sporty EN-B like the MENTOR 7 will quickly feel at home. The CODEX is an ideal gateway into the world of two-liners, with intuitive handling and high passive safety.
Integrated technologies:
- Nitinol: lightweight with shape memory
Nitinol rods replace traditional nylon: they are stronger, return to their original shape after packing, and ensure a perfectly maintained profile. This innovative material is also used in harnesses to help pre-fill airbags before takeoff.
- Fewer lines, more performance
With a two-liner, drag is reduced, stability is enhanced, and B-riser steering becomes a true asset: the angle of attack can be adjusted without distorting the profile, allowing fast flying even in turbulent air.
- NOVA Air Scoop
Inspired by automotive aerodynamics, this optimized intake increases internal pressure. The result: a more stable structure, improved collapse resistance, and better performance—especially at high speed.
- Double 3D Shaping
Extra seams at the leading edge reduce fabric wrinkling for a smoother profile, decreasing drag and boosting the wing’s overall efficiency.
