What is a PERFORMANCE paragliding tandem flight?

The Performance flight is a longer flight, designed for those who want to enjoy it for as long as possible (30 to 45 minutes). To do this, we wait for the best thermal conditions (lift) so that we can extend the flight and go for a walk on the balconies of the Chartreuse. This paragliding experience is ideal for taking the time to discover the activity. It takes place at a legendary site, well known to every paraglider pilot: Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet, located just 30 minutes from Grenoble.

More than just a first flight, this is an introduction to paragliding. You'll make a long flight. You and your pilot will take advantage of thermal lift to extend the flight. If the conditions are right, you'll even have the chance to try your hand at piloting a paraglider !

Nb*: Because of its duration and the rising conditions, this flight can be hard on your stomach. If you suffer from motion sickness, opt for a Discovery or Zen flight instead.

To ensure your experience takes place under the best possible conditions, please carefully read the information below:

- Meeting time and location

We kindly ask you to arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your flight.

This allows us to keep the rotation schedule running smoothly and to welcome you under the best possible conditions.

- How to dress for your paragliding flight?

Paragliding is a gentle activity, but it takes place outdoors and at altitude. Please make sure to bring:

• Sports shoes, preferably high-top
• Sunglasses, securely fitted (strap recommended)
• A sweater or fleece, even in summer
• A windproof jacket
• From May to October, please bring a warm jacket

WHAT IS THE PROGRAM OF THE COURSE?

The meeting point is at our premises located at the Lumbin landing area, at 283 chemin des Longs Prés.
We will take you by shuttle to the Saint-Hil' takeoff site.
During the ascent, our instructors will take care of explaining how the flight will take place.
At the takeoff area, your instructor prepares the equipment and gives you the final instructions.
Time for the magical moment! After a short run, you feel the paraglider lift you up. You leave the ground… the flight begins!
Once in the air, enjoy the scenery, let yourself be carried along… and depending on the package, take the controls or experience a few thrilling sensations.
The flight ends with a smooth landing. Take a moment to recover from the emotions, and collect your photos or videos if you selected the option.

Note: Weather conditions may lead us to suggest a meeting point at one of the nearby sites.
