By combining a pressure sensor, an accelerometer and a 3-axis magnetometer, the Solar provides particularly fast and reliable detection of thermals. This multi-sensor technology delivers a precise and usable audio feedback, even in the most demanding flying conditions.

The Solar turns your smartphone into a true flight instrument by providing it with a very precise and responsive variometer. This allows you to keep the full display capabilities and features of flight applications, while benefiting from the accuracy of a dedicated vario.
The Solar transmits flight data from the instrument in real time to your favourite applications such as XCTrack or FlySkyHy. You therefore benefit from a complete display on your smartphone, while enjoying the precision and responsiveness of the Syride variometer.
With the Syride Link application, you can share your position in real time with your relatives. This live tracking feature is particularly useful to improve safety, track a pilot during competitions or simply allow your friends and family to follow your flight.
Connected to the Syride Link application, the Solar uses the GPS of your smartphone to automatically record your flights. Your tracks are then available in your Syride flight logbook, where you can view, analyse, archive or easily share them.
Thanks to Syride Link, you can configure the instrument’s advanced settings according to your preferences. Easily adjust the volume, the variometer thresholds, the zero calibration and many other settings directly from your smartphone or computer.
