The Strike 3 by Supair introduces several important improvements compared to the previous generation, with the aim of enhancing handling, safety, practicality and aerodynamic performance. This new version modernizes the harness while preserving the versatile DNA that made the Strike range successful.
The Strike 3 adopts a new ABS geometry based on a cross-strap system inspired by the ALP harness, providing more homogeneous roll stability and a more balanced in-flight behaviour. The sizes have also been simplified: the range moves from four to three sizes (S, M, L) thanks to a newly revised sizing and a more flexible speedbag, allowing it to accommodate a wider range of body types while improving comfort. The adjustments have also been simplified, with adjustment buckles now integrated directly into the frame to prioritize ergonomics and pilot adaptation.
The position of the reserve parachute has also evolved. The container is now placed on the back, whereas it was previously under the seat or front-mounted, which changes the balance of the mass within the harness. The Strike 3 also integrates a new handle and rescue pocket closing system, simpler and safer, allowing direct integration of the parachute without a dedicated POD.
Work on aerodynamics has been enhanced with the adoption of an inflatable fairing resulting from CFD studies (airflow simulations). This rear profiling helps to reduce drag and improve yaw stability, particularly during accelerated flight phases. The cockpit has also been redesigned, with a new and more complete instrument panel flap to improve the readability of flight information.
Finally, the Strike 3 improves its storage capacity, a key point for pilots practicing bivouac flying or long mountain adventures. The harness now integrates a larger storage volume, notably thanks to the addition of a removable internal shoulder bag pocket, making it easier to organize equipment during expeditions.
