Walibi 3 Supair: The new generation of tandem harnesses

The Walibi 3 from Supair is Supair’s new tandem pilot leg-strap harness. Developed in parallel with the Minimax 3, together they form the brand’s high-end tandem package for professional pilots. Designed for intensive use, it is perfectly suited to tandem pilots flying back-to-back throughout the season. Its foam-bag protection follows the pilot’s movements while providing full protection. The materials used in its design make it a robust, high-quality piece of equipment.

 

A pilot harness for intensive use

The Walibi 3’s foam-bag protection is designed for professional use. It gives pilots complete freedom of movement. Designed in 3 sections, it protects the pilot from the back of the thighs all the way up to the upper back. This protection is removable. The reserve parachute pocket has been completely redesigned: it is made of specially arranged flaps for a smooth finish once closed. The reserve handle lies flat against the harness so it cannot snag during take-off. The reserve bridles sleeve runs directly to the spreaders.

Improved ergonomics

The harness design places ergonomics at the forefront. A two-point closing system for faster use, large-tooth zips for durability, reserve bridle sleeves running all the way to the spreaders, and a latest-generation reserve pocket. On this new Walibi 3, weight optimisation was achieved while keeping robustness in mind. Weight has been reduced thanks to the choice of materials and components selected by our R&D team. A new multi-layer backrest design provides excellent lumbar support. The numerous adjustments allow professional pilots to achieve optimal ergonomics suited to their body shape. A removable camera pocket specially developed for this Walibi 3 greatly facilitates the use of a camera pole.
