A high-performance paragliding wing designed for cross-country flying
The CHILI 6 is a paragliding wing dedicated to cross-country flying, developed by Skywalk to offer greater performance, comfort and control. Its new 2.5-line concept, completely redesigned profile and high level of stability reduce the need for corrections in turbulent air while maintaining precise feedback. An intuitive and efficient wing, designed to fly far with confidence and make the most of every thermal.

A new generation dedicated to cross-country flying
With the CHILI 6, Skywalk takes the proven DNA of the CHILI range into a new era with the help of new technologies. Developed using modern simulation methods, an intensive testing phase and the experience gained by the brand over the years, this cross-country paragliding wing aims to achieve an advanced balance between performance, comfort and control. Its new 2.5-line concept, completely redesigned profile and new canopy design significantly improve performance while retaining intuitive handling.
The goal was not simply to design a faster wing, but a paraglider that allows the pilot to fly more efficiently. The high profile stability reduces the need for corrections in turbulent conditions while retaining the information required for active flying. This allows the pilot to focus more on what really matters in cross-country flying: finding thermals, choosing the right lines and building an effective flight strategy.
Intuitive and precise thermal handling
From the very first flights, the CHILI 6 stands out with balanced brake pressure and intuitive handling. This design promotes relaxed flying and reduces fatigue during long days in the air. True to the philosophy of the CHILI range, it centres easily and precisely in the thermal core while offering excellent climbing performance.
When conditions become more demanding, the new profile and optimised tension distribution provide the wing with high structural stability. Turbulence is effectively dampened and pitch and roll movements are reduced. Despite this stability, the CHILI 6 retains precise and progressive feedback from the air mass, allowing the pilot to quickly identify lift, thermals and turbulence and exploit them efficiently.
A 2.5-line concept for greater efficiency
The full potential of the CHILI 6 becomes particularly evident during transitions. Its innovative 2.5-line design combines three line levels in the central part of the wing with two levels on the outer sections. Skywalk thus aims to combine the efficiency and control of a 2-liner with the comfort and more forgiving character of a conventional 3-line design.
Combined with SPEED CONTROL, this concept allows precise and low-effort control of the wing while using the speed system. The pilot can influence the behaviour of the wing in accelerated flight without having to release the speedbar. The Skywalk CHILI 6 is therefore a particularly interesting option for pilots focused on cross-country flying, as well as for those who want to gradually move closer to the world of 2-line wings.
Technologies designed for performance
The CHILI 6 incorporates numerous technologies developed by Skywalk. The Winglets increase roll stability, promote automatic recentring of the wing, improve behaviour when exiting a spiral and reduce induced drag. The Shark Nose improves internal pressure distribution, particularly in accelerated flight, helping the wing maintain a more solid behaviour while optimising performance.
The Dual 3D-Shaping improves the accuracy of the leading-edge profile by reducing wrinkles in this particularly sensitive area. The Mini Ribs double the number of cells at the trailing edge to improve shape stability and reduce aerodynamic turbulence. Finally, the Rigid Foil rods help maintain the geometry of the leading edge and consistent internal pressure, while also improving take-off behaviour and overall performance.
More control and safety throughout every phase of flight
The JET FLAPS increase the available margin when approaching the stall point, contributing to safety while also improving climbing performance. The Smart Link System simplifies preparation before take-off with coloured stitching on the risers: red on the left and blue on the right. This makes it easier to check that the risers are correctly connected and not twisted.
The CHILI 6 also features the Sand Release System 2.0. Porous openings integrated into the ribs near the trailing edge automatically direct sand and dirt towards the wing tips to make them easier to remove. This system helps preserve the materials and limits the accumulation of foreign particles in the trailing edge.
With this new generation, Skywalk retains the qualities that have shaped the identity of the CHILI range while further developing its architecture and technologies. The CHILI 6 is aimed at pilots who want to access greater cross-country performance while retaining precise handling, stable behaviour and enough comfort to fully enjoy long hours in the air.
