To take off quickly and safely, it is important to properly fasten the Artus harness. Using the diagram on the leg buckles, you can easily identify how to connect the coloured straps with the corresponding metal pins and rings. The colour coding on each side follows the familiar system used on most NOVA paragliders, helping to prevent incorrect fastening: red for the left side and green for the right.
The Artus also allows you to adjust your seating position using the back and shoulder straps. These adjustments help you find the best setting for a comfortable and efficient flying position. The pod length can also be adjusted using three straps on each side, with markings that make symmetrical adjustment easier. The three-step speedbar runs through low-friction rings and can be operated with very little effort. Finally, the highly durable plastic foot plate protects the calves during take-off.
The Artus also offers plenty of storage space thanks to its various pockets and compartments. At the rear, there is a large-volume storage compartment. Zipped pockets are located on both the left and right sides of the pod, along with additional storage space beneath the seat. For small items such as a power bank, phone or snack, a detachable kangaroo pocket at chest height can be used. Velcro straps on the cockpit and shoulder straps allow flight instruments to be securely attached. Openings for a hydration tube and urine tube are also integrated into the outer shell.
