HOW TO GET YOUR LICENSE?

FFVL INITIAL LICENSE
The Initial Pilot License certifies the ability to fly without assistance in calm conditions, on a familiar site, and with suitable equipment.
It is required to obtain the Pilot License.
Accessible from the age of 13.
How does the exam take place?
Program:
• A multiple-choice test with 30 questions
• A practical section
• Theoretical part:
The theoretical part consists of 30 multiple-choice questions at the "Initial License" level.
You can practice directly on the FFVL application
• Practical part:
The practical part is divided into 3 modules: Mastery of take-off, Safety management, and Control of approach and landing.
How to take the exam with Air et Aventure?
We offer you the opportunity to take both the practical and theoretical parts during a progression course, directly supervised by our instructors.
However, if you wish to take only the theoretical exam, it is possible to organize a session on request.
FFVL PILOT LICENSE
The Pilot License certifies the ability to fly without assistance on different types of sites and in various conditions.
It is required to obtain the Advanced Pilot License (BPC).
Accessible from the age of 14.
How does the exam take place?
Program:
• A multiple-choice test with 60 questions (1 hour / minimum score: 270 out of 360 points)
• A practical section
• Theoretical part:
The theoretical part consists of 60 multiple-choice questions at the "Pilot License" level.
You can practice directly on the FFVL application
• Practical part:
The practical part is divided into 3 modules: Ground handling skills, Safety management, and Wing control in flight and during approach.
How to take the exam with Air et Aventure?
We offer you two ways to validate your Pilot License:
During a thermal performance course.
However, if you wish to take only the theoretical exam, it is possible to organize a session on request.
FFVL ADVANCED PILOT LICENSE
The Advanced Pilot License certifies full autonomy in all forms of flying practice.
It is required to access federal training programs and competitions.
Accessible from the age of 16.
How does the exam take place?
Program:
• A multiple-choice test with 30 questions (minimum score: 135 out of 180 points)
• Two open-ended questions
• A practical section
• Theoretical part:
The theoretical part consists of 30 multiple-choice questions at the "Advanced Pilot License" level and 2 open-ended questions. You can practice the multiple-choice questions on the FFVL application and the open-ended questions using this reference guide.
• Practical part:
The practical part is divided into 4 modules: Ground handling skills, Safety management, Wing control in flight and during approach, and Cross-country & performance flying.
How to take the exam with Air et Aventure?
We offer you the opportunity to take both the practical and theoretical parts during a Cross-Country Course, directly supervised by our instructors.
However, if you wish to take only the theoretical exam, it is possible to organize a session on request.
