This is the holy grail of all walk-and-fly pilots. Experienced pilots swear by it. A lightweight harness that offers real comfort and precision in flight.
When you're on foot, the weight of the harness will impact your rhythm and dynamics. Once equipped, a maneuverable, modular harness will adapt to all profiles. This applies not only to the flight phase, but also to take-off and landing.
Designed for experienced pilots, Supair's Strike 2 combines all these qualities. It retains the features that made the Strike 1 and X-Alps such a success, while developing its own personality.
From now on, the Strike 2 cocoon harness will be available in 2 distinct models: the Bumpair version (foam version) or the Air bag version (inflatable Strike 2 protection )
However, it will be possible to use the Bump for the Air bag version.
Designed on the basis of previous models, the Strike 2 benefits from an all-new buckle-free fastening system, directly in the carabiners. It retains the security of the anti-forgetting two-point locking system. A single closed point is enough to guarantee the pilot's safety.
The geometry of the harness and speedbag has been reworked. It offers more precise piloting and a retracted center of gravity, while supporting the legs and allowing more supine flight for greater comfort
With the addition of an XL size, it covers pilots from 1.60 m to 2 m with precision and a good fit.
The Strike 2 is ergonomic, comfortable and modular, thanks to an optional inflatable protection system. The reworked geometry provides finer transmission of the wing to the pilot, adjustable by the distance between the chest strap and the pilot. This does, however, make it a little more unstable
During take-off, the transition to the sit position and installation in the speedbag is straightforward. Running is made easier by the leg straps.
In flight, the adjustments and geometry of the harness allow adaptation to the morphology and flight positions of each pilot.
The Strike 2 is ideal for walk-and-fly pilots, but can also be used by cross-country pilots looking for lightness. Its various modes and options save weight and volume in the bag. It is designed to be flown with dyneema or Grivel carabiner connectors , depending on options. This lightens the equipment and makes the leg straps fixed, as with the X-Alps harness. The harness can then be put on like a harness. This is the "competition" mode. This in no way detracts from the harness's strength, as it is approved for 120kg instead of 100kg, and features reinforced reserve riser attachments.
COMPETITION MODE: 1820 g (M size, fully equipped, ready to fly).
In this mode, the glider is attached with connectors (optional), and the harness is threaded through the two leg straps. Back protection is provided by the inflatable BUMP (optional). The pilot does not use the removable protection/comfort plate or the mini seat plate.
LIGHT MODE: 1986 g (Size M, fully equipped, ready to fly).
In this mode the harness opens and closes completely on the Plum Grivel carabiners. The back protection is the inflatable BUMP (optional). The pilot does not use the removable protection/comfort plate.
STANDARD MODE: 2025 g (Size M, fully equipped, ready to fly).
In this mode, the harness opens and closes completely on the Plum Grivel carabiners. Back protection is the original foam version. The pilot does not use the removable protection/comfort plate.
GRAND CONFORT MODE: 2200 g (M size, fully equipped, ready to fly).
In this mode, the harness opens and closes completely on the Plum Grivel carabiners. Back protection is the original foam version. The pilot installs the removable protection/comfort plate for added comfort
