The EN C glider designed for ambitious competition pilots
The GTO 3 from Gin Gliders strikes the perfect balance between performance, stability, and precision. Designed for experienced pilots, it integrates cutting-edge aerodynamic innovations to push the limits of cross-country flying while maintaining intuitive handling and excellent feedback in active air.
Pitch stability and glide performance
Thanks to a refined airfoil, the GTO 3 delivers outstanding pitch stability. Its ability to cut through the air with minimal resistance results in a smooth glide sensation and improved overall efficiency. Even at top speed, the wing remains cohesive and reassuring.
Intuitive turning and thermal efficiency
The GTO 3 offers precise and direct handling that makes every turn enjoyable and efficient. In thermals, it requires minimal input, allowing pilots to fully focus on their flight strategy. The new swept-back planform, combined with the Wave Leading Edge technology, boosts climbing performance and offers excellent feedback during active piloting.
A truly usable speed range
Equipped with a long accelerator range and optimized pressure on the B-risers, the GTO 3 remains stable and responsive throughout the entire speed range. Pilots can comfortably use the speed bar for extended periods without compromising safety or performance.
Nature-inspired technology
The GTO 3 features Wave Leading Edge technology, inspired by the tubercles on humpback whale fins. This unique design enhances stability at high angles of attack, delays the stall, and improves sink rate at low speeds. This innovation is the result of the GIN LAB wind tunnel project in collaboration with UNIST (South Korea).
