TOPOGRAPHIC double-wall glass: a mountain for everyday moments
The Alaskan Maker TOPOGRAPHIC glass brings an Alpine landscape to the table through a sculpted shape rather than just a printed illustration. The relief forms part of the inner glass, crossing its base to represent a characteristic mountainside. The mountain’s name and altitude are engraved on the glass to identify the landscape in its finer details.
The stated capacity is 330 ml, with a height of 12 cm and a diameter of 7.5 cm. The compact format suits breakfast, a break or an aperitif. The manufacturer recommends hand washing.
Double walls for hot and cold drinks
The air space between the walls reduces heat transfer to the outside surface and contributes to more comfortable handling. The design accommodates tea or herbal infusions as well as chilled beer and other cold drinks. The separation between the walls also creates a suspended effect: the liquid seems to float inside the glass around the relief.
Mouth-blown borosilicate and a relief developed in 3D
Each glass is made from mouth-blown borosilicate. The two walls are assembled by hand while hot. To develop the landscape, Alaskan Maker first models the mountain, then uses 3D printing to check the relief before creating the production moulds. This process gives each peak its own shape rather than a generic mountain decoration.
An illustrated gift box inspired by a travel journal
The kraft box can be explored all the way around. It features illustrations specific to the mountain, flora and fauna, route details and GPS coordinates for an ascent. This packaging complements the glass as a gift. Drinks and other styling items shown in photographs are not described as supplied equipment.
