What are the objectives of the Cross-Country Paragliding Course – Level 2?
Unlike the Level 1 Cross-Country Course, the goal here is not to learn distance flying. Instead, we will focus on improving your performance. Cross-country flying requires a wide range of knowledge and technical skills. This course aims to support you in your quest for performance through in-depth flight strategy analysis and decision-making. It is designed for pilots who already hold at least a pilot license and want to experience new sensations.
Our Air et Aventure Academy paragliding school is based in Lumbin. The cross-country course takes place at nearby sites around Saint-Hilaire du Touvet, an iconic location known to all paragliders.
Here are the objectives you will work on during your Cross-Country Course:
- Refine your meteorological analysis
- Develop a complex flight plan suited to your level
- Assess and exploit the full flying time window based on your goals
- Flight debriefing and track analysis
- FLY !!!

Our philosophy of the Cross-Country Course
The joy of travelling by paraglider is something magical! But we must never forget the basics and always stay humble and alert.
During a Cross-Country Course, instructors act as guides, but pilots are responsible for their own safety!
For all cross-country courses, we provide you with a tracker to facilitate retrieves and enhance safety.
