The ultimate for flying in extreme conditions – the best expedition hand muffs
Discover the Ultimate Paragliding Expedition Hand Muffs Everest Magnet in their 2025 version. Designed for the most extreme conditions, this high-end model lets you fly above 8000 meters without feeling the cold. It’s simply the best of the best for demanding pilots who push the limits.
These are simply the warmest hand muffs ever made by Windsriders. Filled with premium 700 Cuin down, they protect you effectively down to -30°C while remaining ultra-lightweight: just 200 grams per pair (one size). A perfect blend of warmth and lightness for high-altitude or winter flights.
An improved version of the legendary K2
Inspired by the first generation of WINDSRIDERS K2 muffs – widely acclaimed by pilots – the Everest Magnet goes even further:
- Warmer, thanks to wider chambers with more down fill.
- Longer, for extended forearm protection.
- Simpler, with a fast and effortless magnetic closure system.
Magnetic closure: simple, fast, effective
Forget zippers! Thanks to the new magnetic system, you can launch with the muffs already on your forearms, with bare hands or light gloves. Once in flight, just slide the muff onto the brake handle and snap the magnetic closure with your other hand.
Just 2 seconds is enough: intuitive, fast, and totally secure.
Total comfort, direct handling, and premium materials
Inside, your hand stays free, in direct contact with the brake handle and line, without obstruction. A discreet internal Velcro allows you to attach the muff to the line without affecting its movement. The result: preserved handling precision and natural feel, even in extreme cold.
Each muff is filled with 700 Cuin natural down and lined at the bottom with ultra-soft black synthetic fur. This material choice ensures warmth, comfort, and durability, while providing excellent breathability.
Who is the Everest Magnet model for?

It’s ideal for bivouac flying, high-altitude expeditions, or simply for those seeking the ultimate in thermal comfort — with no compromises and no reliance on batteries. Zero electronics, zero hassle, 100% efficiency.
