The AYA 2 from Skyparagliders is an EN A paraglider wing designed to support pilots during their first years of flying with maximum passive safety, comfort and enjoyment. Designed as a reliable and intuitive first wing, it immediately inspires confidence while offering usable performance for progressing in thermals and cross-country.
Developed in the spirit of the Comfort Line series, it combines stability, precise handling and healthy behavior, allowing beginner and intermediate pilots to fly with peace of mind.
Taking off with the AYA 2 is particularly easy. The wing inflates quickly, rises progressively above the pilot and provides immediate support. Even in no wind, gusty or crosswind conditions, it remains easy to correct and control.
Once airborne, its pitch stability and homogeneous behavior offer a reassuring platform to discover first thermals and make long transitions. Its glide performance ensures good wind penetration, naturally opening the door to first cross-country flights.
The AYA 2 offers precise and progressive handling, making it easier to efficiently center thermals. It remains forgiving in the face of abrupt or asymmetric control inputs, making it particularly suitable for pilots with limited flight hours.
In case of frontal or asymmetric collapses, reactions are smooth and the wing reopens quickly without significant pilot input, ensuring a high level of safety.
The optimized internal architecture and the choice of durable materials result in a long-lasting wing while maintaining a low weight (between 4 and 5 kg depending on size, 4.55 kg in size M).
Line sorting and pre-flight checks are made easier thanks to a reduced number of lines and distinct color coding per row, simplifying preparation before takeoff.
Available in six color combinations, it remains clearly visible in flight — an important element of passive safety.
