An intermediate paramotor wing designed for the pure pleasure of flying
The DriftAir 2 from Dudek is a paramotor wing developed for intermediate pilots looking for a wing that is easy, lively and reassuring. Designed above all for fun flying, it offers an excellent balance between accessibility, dynamic handling and passive safety.
Versatile and intuitive, this wing is aimed at a wide range of pilots who want healthy take-off behaviour, precise handling and enjoyable turning sensations, while maintaining confidence throughout the different phases of flight.
Easier and more progressive take-off
The DriftAir 2 has been designed to give the pilot confidence right from the inflation phase. Its inflation is simple, progressive and natural, allowing the wing to rise above the pilot in a stable and predictable way.
Dudek has paid particular attention to low-speed behaviour in order to improve lift-off. This development makes take-offs easier and allows pilots to approach this technical phase with greater confidence, especially when moving up to a more dynamic wing.
An accessible wing with character
In flight, the DriftAir 2 combines precision, dynamism and safety. It retains accessible handling while delivering more pronounced sensations, especially when turning.
It is a logical next step for pilots moving on from a Nucleon 4 and looking to progress with a wing that is more playful while still remaining reassuring.
Risers designed for precise control
The DriftAir 2 features a 4-line architecture and a 2D steering system. Its brake handles include a fabric strap that allows the pilot to use the TST, providing greater finesse and precision when controlling the wing.
It also includes the PK System, a system originally designed for slalom flying. When this system is activated, using the speed bar automatically opens the trims. When the pilot releases the speed bar, the trims return to their original configuration, depending on the chosen setting.
This system is primarily intended for experienced pilots who want a specific flight configuration.
A true evolution compared with the first DriftAir
The DriftAir 2 is the result of two years of development. The main objective was to significantly improve the take-off phase, often considered one of the most technical moments in paramotoring.
Testing was carried out in demanding conditions, particularly in light wind and high humidity, in order to create a wing capable of rising quickly and naturally, while remaining stable above the pilot.
The result: a wing that is easier to position, more reassuring at take-off, while retaining a solid profile, good passive safety and fun in-flight behaviour.
