The Permair protection from NEO is removable and integrates Skywalk's Permair technology. This protection is inflatable and designed for the String 3.0, StringPack 2.0 and Shorty harnesses from NEO.

The Permair system, recognized as the most advanced technology in the field of inflatable protections, benefits from a partnership between NEO and Skywalk to be integrated into leg-strap harnesses equipped with removable protections. With a thickness of 22 cm, the Permair protection ensures optimal safety, regardless of atmospheric pressure variations during flight.
During EN testing, Permair recorded an outstanding performance with a result of 38.8G. Even at 60% inflation, it guarantees excellent shock absorption. The latest generation of Permair protections features a practical control valve, simplifying the inflation and deflation process.
In addition, there is no need to reinflate the protection before every takeoff. If it does not have to be compressed in a narrow carrying bag, it can be left inflated between uses, making it even more convenient for everyday use.
Permair 2.0 protections offer a minimalist and efficient inflation system thanks to the mouthpiece included in the Permair kit. This mouthpiece is equipped with a moisture filter to limit the introduction of humidity into the protection.
When using the mouthpiece, it is essential that the HME filter (small blue sponge) is correctly installed inside. For hygiene reasons, the mouthpiece should be replaced every two years or as soon as signs of mold appear.
The NEO Permair removable inflatable protection system is designed to fit the NEO String range, including the String 3.0 and Stringpack 2.0 models.
For this range of minimalist harnesses, NEO has chosen to integrate an inflatable protection, considering that classic removable airbags no longer meet current safety requirements when compared to modern technologies such as Koroyd or Permair.
Permair technology by Skywalk is used for removable protections on ABS leg-strap harnesses. However, for classic ABS harnesses or those with a seat-board design, NEO favors Koroyd technology, which is better suited to these configurations.
The NEO Permair protection is available in a single size, making it compatible with all pilot sizes.
