An accessible paragliding wing to progress and fly farther
The NEXO is an EN-B paragliding wing designed by Nova for pilots who want to make the most of every flight. Precise, compact and confidence-inspiring, it combines high passive safety with excellent cross-country potential. Ideal for your first thermal flights as well as long-distance adventures, it also supports paraglider pilots during SIV courses and their first freestyle manoeuvres.

An EN-B wing designed for pure flying pleasure
The NEXO was born from a simple idea: to allow pilots to fully enjoy every single flight. Many pilots are no longer looking for an extreme wing, but for a glider that enables them to make the most of thermals, go on cross-country flights, and remain comfortable from take-off to landing. It is with this exact mindset that the NEXO was developed.
This EN-B paraglider combines high passive safety, precise handling, and real cross-country potential. Compact in its behavior, clear in the feedback it provides, and performance-oriented without becoming demanding, it is tailored for pilots who simply want to experience the pleasure of flying.
Precise and intuitive handling
The NEXO provides exactly the right level of feedback a pilot needs in flight. The glider maintains a compact feel, with clear information transmission without ever feeling twitchy. Load variations remain progressive and wingtip movements are limited, promoting relaxed and confident piloting.
In thermals, the glider enters lift naturally, centers intuitively, and stays stable through turns. Its precise and well-controlled behavior allows for efficient climbing while maintaining a relaxed and enjoyable flying feel.
A wing designed for cross-country
The NEXO has been developed to deliver true cross-country flight capabilities. Its top speed delivers sensations close to those of much more demanding wings, all while maintaining reassuring behavior.
Thanks to the new generation of NOVA profiles, the glider remains exceptionally stable in accelerated flight. Pitch movements are well-damped, the wing keeps a compact structure, and air feedback remains perfectly legible. This stability instills genuine confidence during long glides and extensive flight plans.
Simple launch characteristics and high passive safety
On launch, the NEXO rises easily and progressively overhead. Inflation is fast, the climb is smooth through the center of the canopy, and energy naturally bleeds off as it approaches zenith, significantly reducing the risk of overshooting. Even if pressure is released too early during inflation, the glider remains easy to control and smoothly repositions itself above the pilot.
Passive safety was a top priority throughout development. During collapse simulations, the wing shows minimal rotation toward the collapsed side and maintains straightforward, easy-to-understand reactions, even in turbulent air. Reopenings are fast while generating minimal excess energy, greatly limiting secondary reactions. This behavior remains particularly remarkable accelerated, where collapses differ very little from those observed at trim speed.
Durable design built for everyday use
Rather than chasing minimal weight, NOVA focused on durability, stability, and consistent behavior over the years. The NEXO utilizes high-quality Porcher fabrics on the leading edge along with a new-generation Dominico 30D fabric on the main body. This combination offers excellent long-term durability—even after many hours of flight in damp, dusty, or demanding conditions—while maintaining pleasant handling characteristics.
Its design remains deliberately simple. Short leading-edge rods reduce packing volume, risers have been simplified, and the line setup prioritizes trim stability as well as practical everyday use.
A wing that supports your progression
The NEXO remains enjoyable far beyond your first cross-country flights. Its balanced behavior makes it particularly well-suited for SIV / pilot training courses, while offering enough precision and dynamism to perform wingovers, SATs, helicopters, and many other advanced maneuvers.
It thus combines the key qualities needed for thermal flying, XC, and first steps into freestyle, offering remarkable versatility for pilots wishing to continuously progress with peace of mind.
