Alaskan Maker Topographic Glass: landscapes in three dimensions
The TOPOGRAPHIC collection turns an everyday glass into an invitation to travel. A sculpted landscape rises inside the base, visible through the glass and its contents. Each version features a different mountain or dune, bringing its own silhouette to the table. Choose a favourite destination or discover a new landscape through this distinctive detail.
Reliefs developed using 3D modelling
Alaskan Maker researches the chosen landscape and models it digitally. Three-dimensional prints help assess the design before the moulds are made. This process establishes the relief that will appear inside the finished glass, giving each version its individual character.
Hand-blown borosilicate glass
Each piece is made by glassblowers using an artisanal process. Its 100% borosilicate composition combines fineness with resistance, while the transparent glass highlights the interior relief. The glass is 12.4 cm tall, with manufacturer-stated diameters of 6.3 and 9 cm.
450 ml for everyday drinks and shared occasions
The 450 ml capacity accommodates water, fruit juice, beer and cocktails. Use it for an aperitif or as part of an everyday table setting. Its topographic detail also adds a decorative touch to a kitchen or living room and offers a starting point for conversations about mountains, travel and memories.
Care for the glass and its relief
Wash by hand with lukewarm water and mild soap, then dry with a lint-free cloth. The manufacturer recommends avoiding the dishwasher and cleaning beads, which may leave deposits in the hollows of the relief. This care helps preserve the clarity of the glass and the detail of the landscape.
