Supair: Innovative Leader in the World of Paragliding
Supair, recognized as a major player in paragliding, boasts over 40 years of existence. Founded by Pierre Bouilloux, a pioneer in the activity, this French company has distinguished itself with its innovative approach to designing harnesses and paragliding seats. Pierre, initially a hang gliding instructor, began by making his own seats to improve the comfort of his passengers. These innovations quickly led to harnesses marketed under the Sup'Air brand from 1982.
Over the years, Supair has introduced several major innovations in the field of paragliding. The brand was a pioneer in integrating a rear reserve parachute container into its harnesses as early as 1988, and continued to innovate with the development of auto-locking quick-release harness buckles specifically designed for paragliding. In 1992, Supair launched the first ABS concept (Anti Balancing System), thus improving harness safety.
In addition to harnesses, Supair also offers a wide range of Supair's paragliding wings, from EN-A to EN-C categories, suited to various levels of practice and experience.
