A paraglider wing designed to progress with complete confidence
The Mescal 7 is an EN A paraglider wing designed to offer new pilots a simple, intuitive, and reassuring introduction to flying. From your first ground-handling sessions to your first thermals or cross-country flights, this wing supports you gently, enabling structured technical progression without stress.
Learning to fly with peace of mind
The design of the Mescal 7 paraglider is based on a simple idea: to ease the learning curve without ever compromising safety. This paraglider wing offers forgiving behavior, precise responses, and rock-solid stability. Everything needed to inspire confidence in every pilot, from the very first training slope sessions to the first cross-country kilometers.
A wing designed to last… and to support progression
Beyond its ease of use, the Mescal 7 benefits from numerous technologies derived from more advanced models. This makes it a wing capable of accompanying pilots well beyond their initial training, while maintaining an excellent level of safety.
Integrated technologies:
- JET FLAPS: this technology extends the flight range by slowing the approach to the stall point. It significantly improves safety and optimizes thermal climbing performance.
- MINI RIBS: additional cells at the trailing edge ensure better shape stability, refining aerodynamics and increasing the wing’s overall performance.
- RIGID FOIL: nylon rods positioned at the leading edge maintain the airfoil shape and ensure constant internal pressure. This facilitates takeoffs and improves overall flight efficiency.
- SMART LINK SYSTEM: color-coded stitching on the risers allows for intuitive and error-free connection. Red indicates the left side, blue the right.
- SHARK NOSE: combined with a specific wing design, this technology optimizes pressure distribution on the upper surface for more solid behavior, especially during accelerated flight.
- 3D SHAPING: a precisely calculated leading-edge geometry and the addition of an extra fabric strip reduce wrinkles and ensure a cleaner profile, enhancing performance.
- C-WIRES: rods located above the C-line attachment points improve load distribution, reduce drag, and deliver a performance gain.
- WINGLETS: wingtip fins enhance roll stability, promote more effective re-centering of the wing, improve spiral recovery, and reduce induced drag.
- SAND RELEASE SYSTEM 2.0: openings at the rear of the internal ribs allow sand and debris to be evacuated toward the wing tips, preserving the fabric and relieving the trailing edge.
